Random conversation

If you want a little insight into our marriage....check out this conversation Rob and I had at lunch.

Alicia: I have a confession to make. While you were out last night I tried to make bread. (rob is the master bread maker in the O home, and he had to travel out last night, so I thought I would make bread for the kids lunch)
Rob: How did it go?
Alicia: Not good.
Rob: Did you follow the directions I taped on the wall for you?
Alicia: Well, we were out of sugar so I decided to make "sugar-free" bread. And I read the whole instruction book to see how to run the bread machine. I just don't know what I did wrong.
Rob: You read the WHOLE book?
Alicia: Yeah...pretty much.
Rob: So you read the part about how the sugar has to interact with the yeast for the bread to rise.
Alicia:Oh...I missed that part.
Rob: Read the whole book, huh?

As Rob likes to say, that is the "wagoner" coming out in me, I am WAY too creative for recipes and instructions. By the way BG, thanks for the use of the bread machine....IT IS EXCELLENT!! At least when Rob uses it.

hilarious. don'tcha love getting "caught" on the details?! i'd be thankful he's the bread maker. its more fun to eat it than to make it anyways right?

btw...love your new blog look! especially that picture on top.

We have conversations like that at our house too. Can you guess which way it goes?

I'm so glad you guys are enjoying the breadmaker! You're going to have to teach me how to use it better when we get back because I only did regular bread and it seems like you guys have been experimenting. How fun! I have lots to write to you about the fun friends of yours that we met recently!
