We armed ourselves with pictures of the hairstyle we wanted and our good friend who is a local to help us with communicating EXACTLY what we wanted. It is very difficult to find people here who will cut your hair the way you want. Many times, especially because there is no one with thick, coarse hair like ours here, they don't know what to do with us. Thankfully we have found one lady who listens and will do the things we want. She works in a "salon" that looks more like a "hole in the wall" than a salon. But, we only paid $2.75 for the cut and wash. And we were pleased with the outcome, which is the most important thing. So without further ado......
And I just really like this picture. This girl LOVES to read!

Not sure what I think about the "grown up" girl here in this picture. It certainly isn't the same girl I hugged goodbye to at the Airport is it. Love the new "do".

I knew it when I saw your previous post. *sigh* I love her beautiful, curly hair, but the new 'do is cute, and if she's happy, that's what matters.
I'm not sure I like the new haircut...It makes her look like a teenager! And that makes me older!!!!! But she is a beautiful looking teenager (almost) When I turned 11, I told people I was almost 12 going on 13. So,Hannah...now that you look older, you can say that as well! Your dad will love it. Nana

To Hannah: We are just now catching up on months of blog reading - your mom's was first - and this is what we found: a post full of CUTENESS!! Roman and I can't get over you with short hair! And I said "You and Hannah haven't talked about this in e-mail?" And she said "No way! I would have told you about this!" So - keep an eye on your e-mail cuz I'm sure she'll want to chime in! I hope you are enjoying the short do - you are as beautiful as ever!!
