13

13 Years Ago Today.....
June 15, 1996. I was 21 and he was 22. We were so young, and neither of us new how we would be able to afford that one bedroom apartment at $400/month....since neither of us had full time jobs. But we were in love.

Our Families and friends all gathered in Euless, TX for the big day. We watched ourselves grow from infants to adults, our fathers spoke blessings over us, and my 2 childhood pastors married us. Rob cried and cried.....We were in love.

As the years have flown by, we have commented over and over how we "barely knew each other" compared to how we know each other now, how we "barely loved each other" compared to how we love each other now. You see, 13 years, 2 kids, 8,000 miles later......we are still in love.
Can't wait for 13 more!!!!

WOW, Now I'm REALLY-REALLY crying!!! I remember watching Rob move to the center of the sanctuary because he couldn't see you coming down the aisle, and how he cried when he did see you! He was sooo in love and was so anticipating seeing you! The Olmstead clan were already on the verge of tears. Rob's moving, and crying, turned on the spigot! Bro. Bobby said that it was the "cryingest" wedding he had ever been to! The tears were, and are, tears of EXTREME joy!!! Father has blessed Donna and I so with such PERFECT mates (if you don't believe THAT, consider Phil & Krista!!!) for each of our children, You BECAME OUR children---WQW! Now I'm REALLY-REALLY-REALLY ceying! My love to you (both) on this day!

I will never forget Rob tell later how he waited for your day with great anticipation and how he couldn't see you coming down the aisle because everyone was standing and blocking his view of you. He said he moved over to get a view of you and Father reminded him that that was how he felt about him (Rob and all his children)--great anticipation for the consumation of his bride. You and Rob are such an example of the picture of Christ and his church. It is so good to see your love blossom and grow stronger each year. Happy, Happy anniversary and many, many more.

i remember, Sister! It was a great day, with mom playing the piano, your brothers as groomsmen, and dad giving you away. My favorite part is still playing ultimate frisbee with Rob in the muddy soccer field the night before... i also liked the place where we ate at the rehearsal dinner... can't remember the name, but I do remember the special toast about Rob in his birthday suit... aww, memories...
